Creating innovative nappy solutions for babies, children & adults. Our patented systems are a world first and unlike any other 'plastic' disposable nappy. We have spent over 30 years creating a truly sustainable system where our eenee compostable pads are suitable for 'recycling' through commercial composting and our eenee belts, wraps or pants are 're-used' - not just thrown away. We are working towards a circular economy not a linear one.
Nutrient rich compost can help increase organic matter and replace chemical fertiliser use on our depleted Australian soils. For many years, we have been working with commercial composters to enable change, and the wheels of change have started to move with a number of Councils and facilities now successfully turning your waste into nutrient rich compost. So, instead of our nappies being wasted in landfill and the precious resources lost, we need your support to further enable this important change!
Our Eenee Story
Having tried the available nappy products with my two daughters, I found there was limited choice and decided that there must be a better way. So, in 1990 Eenee Designs was born from my home in picturesque Tasmania, with the ambition of making the highest quality nappy products which do not cost the Earth.
The disposables at that time were convenient, but they were made with so much plastic and were sweaty for my babies. The traditional reusable cloth nappies used less resources but lacked absorbency, and the washing was more work than I needed as a working mum.
Here we are a generation later, still creating innovative products which care for your children, you and the environment. We are committed to developing ecologically sustainable solutions to everyday problems and protecting quality of life.
Our company Kuver Designs Pty Ltd, was established in 1991 to manage and market our unique range of Eenee Designs products. Kuver Designs is care taker of the Eenee Designs Trade Marks, Patents and Registered Designs and owner of www.compostablenappies.com .
