• Description

Jeffries and Peats Soil commercial compost facilities have approved eenee compostables for processing through their facilities.  We are working with authorities to allow eenee compostables to be included in the weekly collection of organics from households.

Update :

The City of West Torrens city council are now allowing eenee compostables to be placed in their residential green organics bin.  see http://www.westtorrens.sa.gov.au/Environment_waste/Waste_recycling/Organics

The City of Mitcham, which previously approved Eenee Compostables (uPads) to be placed in the green bin, have temporarily withdrawn approval due to unknown plastic contamination entering the waste stream (not from eenee compostables).  We will let you know when the Council allow our nappies to be placed in the green organics bin again, but for now all nappies are to be placed in the regular waste bin.
